Marsaxlokk Residential Complex
This project has a total budget of €7 million, with an additional €4 million allocated for finishes, tailored to the client's specifications. CZ Services primarily provides Project Management and Quantity Surveying (QS) services for the contractor, SP Building Materials Ltd. We anticipate project completion by the end of 2026. Our role encompasses on-site management, cost reviews, and quality control to ensure the highest standards are met.
Construction Works at Valletta - ex. Times of Malta
The €25 million project, initiated in 2025, has successfully completed its construction phase and is set for full completion by the end of 2027. Our role in this venture encompasses Quantity Surveying for both the main contractor and the nominated subcontractors, covering all construction activities and finishes.
We offer comprehensive services during both the pre-contract and post-contract stages, which include the preparation of tender documents, management of restoration works, and handling issues related to monthly payments for all involved contractors.
Finishing works at new DB Complex in Paceville
This €300 million project is located in St. Julian's, Malta, and encompasses retail outlets, a five-star deluxe hotel, and luxury apartments. Work commenced in 2025, with an expected completion date in 2026. We collaborated closely with ORASCOM Ltd., one of Malta's leading finishing contractors.
Our responsibility includes preparing claims on behalf of ORASCOM Ltd. on a monthly basis, covering service areas from the basement to the hotel levels and external spaces. The finishes range across floors, walls, and outdoor areas, utilizing various materials and installation methods. We provide quantity surveying services to ORASCOM Ltd. monthly, and we also create detailed sketches and drawings of the completed works. This helps in identifying areas that are unfinished and aids in effectively scheduling the necessary resources for subsequent tasks.
Paola Hub Hospital Project
In 2014, the Government of Malta made the decision to establish a small hospital in the southern region, with an investment of €68 million. The project faced several significant challenges, including issues with the foundation, financial constraints, and complications with contractors.
As CZ Services, we were entrusted with the Quantity Surveying aspects of the project, overseen by the international project management firm SalfoAdo from Greece. We successfully completed the project in August 2025, and the hospital is now fully operational.
Malta Freeport - Ship to Shore Project
We take pride in our participation in this €24 million project, which aims to supply ship-to-shore power for cargo vessels at Malta Freeport. We are collaborating as the quantity surveyor for Shining Star Ltd. The project is scheduled for completion in May 2026.
In addition to enhancing sustainability, this project will significantly contribute to the local economy by creating job opportunities during the construction phase and beyond. The initiative not only aims to reduce emissions from docked vessels but also seeks to bolster Malta's position as a leader in eco-friendly maritime practices. By investing in advanced infrastructure, we are committed to promoting cleaner energy solutions and supporting the region’s economic growth through increased trade and shipping activities.
